This song was initially intended to be another ode to Kansas City (see: KCI from "Corner Speech"), but I decided to do something slightly different. It still is...in part, but I asked my man Melodiq to join me on the track. He's been a long-time inspiration and I always wanted to collab with him. This was my chance to do so...His voice is PERFECT over this track. Melo's chorus rewrite had continuity with the hook I wrote initially. It all fit together perfectly. BusCrates' work on the production fit well, sonically, with the rest of the album (Boom Bappy). Another one of my favs...
