"Think Of You" was originally recorded over an entirely different beat. It sat for a while when those plans went South...Always needed a hook, but I had never gotten around to writing/arranging one OR finding someone to sing it. When I got the new beat from The Breaks...I talked to one of my old classmates (Schelli Tolliver) about applying for the job. She came in, knocked it out and the rest...they say...is history. I wrote the first two verses about the real life experiences of a couple of my friends. The last details the struggles of my own life...to balance music and having a serious romantic relationship.
